Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Services

  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify and resolve plumbing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Maintain records of plumbing activities and report any significant findings to the Property Manager.

Electrical Maintenance

  • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues to maintain uninterrupted utility services.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Document all electrical maintenance activities and report to the Property Manager.

Property Inspections and Reporting

  • Conduct comprehensive property inspections to assess the condition of utilities and facilities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks based on inspection outcomes.

Utility Monitoring

  • Monitor utility usage and performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement preventive maintenance measures to ensure the longevity of utility systems.
  • Optimize utility operations to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Support to Property Manager

  • Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and facility management tasks.
  • Provide timely updates and reports on maintenance activities and utility performance.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed to support facility maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Technical or vocational training in plumbing and electrical work is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a Grade A building environment.

Certifications

  • Plumbing and electrical work certifications are an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Strong diagnostic abilities in plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems, preventive maintenance, and building systems management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
