Sales Support Intern at Samakgro Limited – Naivasha Plant

Job Summary:

Join our rapidly growing team at Samakgro Limited as a Sales Support Intern based at our Naivasha Plant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting environment to kickstart their career in sales and customer support.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Customer Databases: Maintain and update customer databases and sales records to ensure accurate information tracking.
  • Sales Reports and Presentations: Learn to prepare sales reports and presentations to support sales team activities.
  • Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule and confirm meetings and appointments for sales representatives to optimize their time.
  • Quotations and Invoices: Assist in preparing and sending out quotations, invoices, and filing relevant documentation.
  • Client Feedback: Follow up with clients for feedback and address their concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Market Research: Assist in researching potential clients and market trends to support sales strategies.
  • Sales Campaigns: Help in the preparation and execution of sales campaigns to drive business growth.
  • Lead Tracking: Assist in tracking sales leads and ensuring timely follow-up to maximize conversion rates.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain effective communication within the sales team to ensure alignment on goals and activities.
  • Event Support: Assist in organizing and preparing for events and product demonstrations to showcase company offerings.
  • CRM Management: Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with current client information and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma: Hold a degree or diploma in Science or Fisheries and Aquaculture.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn.
  • Customer Support Skills: Understanding of efficient customer support and sales strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Positive Attitude: Possess a positive can-do attitude and a passion for the field of interest.
