Detailed Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Team Support: Identifying and offering support to the sales team to ensure all opportunities are captured.
  • Commercial Policies and Sales Excellence: Supporting the implementation of commercial policies and sales excellence initiatives.
  • Market Activities Monitoring: Monitoring the impact of market activities and providing return on investment analyses.
  • Sales Incentives and Promotions: Recommending and monitoring sales incentives and promotions to gain positive results in terms of revenues and market share.
  • Market Developments: Monitoring market developments and taking appropriate action to maintain or grow market share.
  • POS Forecasting: Providing accurate and timely POS forecasts, focusing on demand, yield, and local market trends.
  • Trend Signaling: Providing early and proactive signaling of changing trends, patterns, calendar of events, and market circumstances.
  • Competitor Analysis: Signaling opportunities to sales regarding low-load flights and providing competitor analyses.
  • Professional Communication: Ensuring professional and persuasive communication internally and with Revenue Management in liaison with the Field Pricer.
  • Business Results Review: Performing regular reviews of business results, forward bookings, segment strategies, distribution strategies, and other relevant management information for assigned markets and routes.
  • Commercial Reporting: Ensuring timely delivery of commercial reports, including sales weekly area reports, monthly reports, and quarterly reports.
  • Revenue Targets: Achieving budgeted revenue targets, including ancillary sales.
  • Contract Support: Providing contract support and expertise to contracted agents to maximize revenue.
  • Customer and Agent Databases: Creating and maintaining customer and agent databases for the sales team to enable easy access to available data.
  • Non-IATA Agent Portfolio Management: Processing and maintaining the non-IATA agent portfolio, COMM-flex, and waiver management.
  • EU Sales Support: Providing support to EU sales with trade support, trade exhibitions, and events.
  • Key Customer Bookings: Handling personalized bookings and reservations from key customers as referenced by the Regional Manager and other KQ leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Education: University degree in a business-related field.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of revenue management and pricing principles.
  • Experience: Ticketing and sales background with experience in Altea, Amadeus, Monet, Delorian, and MI & reporting tools.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC skills (Excel/Word).
  • Field Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of the airline business, with a minimum of three years of experience in a commercial environment.
