Enterprise Business Analyst – Head Office

Job Summary

Are you a seasoned Enterprise Business Analyst looking for your next challenge? Kingdom Bank, a subsidiary of the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at our Head Office. Since our acquisition of Kingdom Bank in August 2020, we have been part of a robust Group with over Kes. 457 Billion in total assets and Kes. 20.7 Billion in profit before tax as of 31 December 2019. We are committed to driving change through innovative business and technology solutions and need a dedicated professional to help us achieve our strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis and Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with business units to examine business problems and needs, and evaluate whether the proposed solutions are optimal. Conduct in-depth requirements elicitation, business requirements analysis, and solution assessment.
  • Solution Feasibility and Risk Assessment: Perform detailed analysis on solution feasibility, risks, and its impact on the organization. Provide insights and recommendations for effective implementation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Lead stakeholder relationship management by developing and maintaining communication channels. Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating their involvement and ownership of business requirements.
  • Project Support: Support project delivery through solution procurement, scope planning, and coordination with the Internal PM. Monitor progress and report changes, risks, and issues to the Operations Transformation Committee (OPSTRACO).
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze business processes to identify alternative solutions and recommend new approaches. Contribute to evaluating factors necessary for the business change program.
  • Documentation and Communication: Assist business users in identifying business problems, needs, and functions. Contribute to Solution Overviews and Solution Designs based on the Business Requirements Document (BRD).

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business-related fields from a recognized university.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of overall experience in a dynamic business environment, including a minimum of 2 years with a proven record of successful business development initiatives.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to produce Business Requirements Documents (BRD) that translate into technical designs.
    • Proficient in requirements management, data analysis, and business modeling.
  • Professional Qualifications: Certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or Change Management (e.g., CBAP/CCBA, CBPP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, Prince2, PMP, Prosci Change Practitioner, ITSM) will be advantageous.
