16,625 Shortlisted Candidates for Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) – Cohort (VI)

Dear Applicants,

We are delighted to announce that the shortlisting process for the Public Service Internship Programme (PSIP) Cohort (VI) has been completed. Out of the numerous applications received, we have shortlisted a total of 16,625 candidates for further consideration.

Key Details:

  • Number of Shortlisted Candidates: 16,625
  • Number of Advertised Positions: 8,000
  • Job Advert Date: 25th July 2023
  • Interview Dates: 14th – 18th November 2023

Opportunities Await: Successful interns will have the chance to be placed in various Government ministries, departments, and agencies, gaining valuable experience in their chosen field. Additionally, interns will receive a monthly stipend determined by the state.

Presidential Directive: This cohort marks a significant milestone as we, in response to President William Ruto’s directive, onboard the largest number of interns since the program’s inception in 2019. The goal is to provide more opportunities for young graduates from universities.

Internship Deployment: Successful candidates will be deployed to various Ministries, State Departments, Corporations, and Public Universities early next year. They will work under PSC-trained mentors and coaches dedicated to nurturing and shaping their career growth.

Program Impact: The PSIP, now in its fifth year, has benefited over 21,000 graduates. This testament to its success is a result of the Commission’s commitment to fostering career development and contributing to the growth of young professionals.
