Job Summary

Zetech University is seeking highly qualified and motivated Senior Lecturers for four positions: two full-time and two part-time. This role requires a strong academic background, significant teaching experience, and a passion for research and mentorship in the field of International Relations and Diplomacy. Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development: Oversee the design and development of curricula and create new courses at various levels.
• Teaching and Mentorship: Deliver high-quality teaching, provide mentorship, and offer career guidance to students and junior faculty.
• Research and Publication: Lead research initiatives, publish in reputable journals, and attract research funding.
• Examinations and Assessments: Develop, administer, and mark examinations and other assessments.
• University Representation: Represent the University in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental, school, university, national, and international activities.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• PhD/Doctorate in International Relations and Diplomacy or an equivalent degree from a recognized/accredited university.
• Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy or a related area from a recognized/accredited university.
• Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy or a relevant field from a recognized/accredited university.
• Teaching/Research Experience: At least three years of experience as a Lecturer/Research Fellow at the university level.
• Publication Points: A minimum of thirty-two (32) equivalent publication points, with at least twenty-four (24) from refereed journal articles.
• Postgraduate Supervision: Supervised at least two postgraduate students.
• Research Funding: Attracted research funds as a Lecturer/Research Fellow.
• Professional Engagement: Attended and contributed to academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
• Professional Membership: Evidence of being a member of a relevant professional body.
• Leadership Experience: Evidence of leadership and active participation in departmental/school/university/national/international activities.
