Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Coordination
- Actively identify needs within the catchment area and strategize medical and social activities.
- Supervise all Youth Friendly Centre activities, both within and outside the center.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify indicators for monitoring results and achievements.
- Ensure adherence to youth-friendly service principles and national guidelines for AYFS.
Community Engagement
- Promote a participatory approach within the youth community.
- Collaborate with partners for holistic services and identify opportunities for synergies.
HR/Fin Procedures
- Supervise HR/Fin procedures, including recruitment, training, evaluation, and internal communication.
- Collaborate with other MSF managers, attend fortnightly manager’s meetings, and contribute to monthly reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- University degree in social sciences, social communication, health promotion, or related fields.
Experience:
- 4 years of prior work experience in health promotion, project coordination, or social research.
- Desirable: 2 years of experience in youth/community participatory programs.
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Swahili
