Job Summary:

As our Assistant Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of tires. Your responsibilities will include inspecting tire conditions, recommending appropriate repair treatments, and ensuring the overall safety of our customers and fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspecting and Assessing Tires: Evaluate tire tread levels, wear patterns, and valve quality to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to address any concerns or issues they may have.
• Tire Installation and Repair: Install, balance, and repair tires for various vehicles, ensuring alignment and addressing punctures as needed.
• Efficient Work Completion: Perform all tasks efficiently and safely, adhering to standards, policies, and procedures.
• Tool Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring their proper use and the cleanliness of the work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate in Automotive Mechanics: Possess a relevant certificate or equivalent qualification in automotive mechanics.
• Tire Repair Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge and skills in repairing various types of tires, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose tire issues and apply appropriate repair solutions.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Kiswahili languages.
