Our client is seeking an experienced Water Production Technician to join their team. As a Water Production Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing water systems to ensure a safe and reliable water supply. Key Responsibilities

As a Water Production Technician, you will be responsible for the following core duties:

  1. Installing and Maintaining Water Systems:
    • Installation and maintenance of water systems, including pipes, pumps, valves, and tanks.
    • Ensuring water supply safety by conducting routine inspections and performing repairs as needed.
  2. Repairing Equipment:
    • Diagnose and repair any faulty equipment, including water pipes, pumps, and valves to minimize downtime.
    • Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues swiftly.
  3. Monitoring Water Quality:
    • Monitor water quality to ensure that all safety and health standards are met.
    • Conduct water sampling and analysis to identify any contamination and implement corrective actions.
  4. Troubleshooting Water Supply Issues:
    • Address any problems in the water supply network, ensuring a continuous and reliable flow of water.
    • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.
  5. Testing and Maintenance of Water Networks:
    • Perform regular testing of water networks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance on water systems to extend their lifespan and maintain performance.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Water Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in installing and maintaining water systems, including pipes, pumps, and valves.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing equipment in water production environments.
  • Experience with water treatment, water sampling, and analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of water safety standards and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in water quality monitoring or water safety is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with municipal water systems or large-scale water production facilities.
  • Proficiency in the use of advanced water system testing tools and equipment.
