Job Summary:

As a Vehicle Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the optimal condition of our fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in our operations. This position requires a proactive, knowledgeable, and highly organized individual who will manage vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule Maintenance: Plan and schedule regular vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with maintenance calendars.
• Diagnose Issues: Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, arrange for and supervise repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of the vehicles’ service history and costs.
• Optimize Fleet: Coordinate with fleet managers to optimize vehicle availability and usage.
• Procedure Development: Develop maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Supplier Management: Manage relationships with service providers and parts suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet management.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and component functions.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Valid driving license with a good driving record.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
