Established in 2021, KEPRO is a Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) committed to accelerating the growth of Kenya’s Recycling Ecosystem. Our mission is to facilitate responsible waste management practices, ensuring producers take full lifecycle responsibility for their products. We collaborate with stakeholders to create a Circular Economy, reducing the environmental impact of post-consumer waste while creating job opportunities.

Job Purpose: As a Membership Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in engaging and serving our members effectively. This internship offers valuable experience in membership management and environmental stewardship, contributing to sustainable practices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactive Communication: Initiate communication with members nearing renewal dates, ensuring seamless renewal processes.
- Personalized Support: Provide tailored assistance to facilitate member renewals, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Monthly Declarations: Assist members with accurate monthly volume declarations, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- On-site Assistance: Conduct visits to member facilities, offering on-site support as necessary.
- Query Resolution: Address member queries promptly, providing timely assistance through our help desk services.
- Data Analysis: Analyze membership data to derive insights for informed decision-making and tailored strategies.
- Membership Engagement: Develop strategies to increase member involvement and participation in organizational activities.
- Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate events and workshops to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Business Development, Marketing, Data Analysis, or related field.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to promoting responsible waste management practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in membership management, customer service, or environmental advocacy is a plus.
