Role Overview

As a Waiter/Waitress Hostess at Urban Point Hotel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting Guests: Welcome guests warmly and ensure they are seated comfortably.
• Order Taking: Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders.
• Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Menu Knowledge: Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, especially Somali and Indian cuisine, to assist guests with their choices.
• Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:  in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Cuisine Knowledge: Experience with Somali/Indian cuisine is highly desirable.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
• Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor.
