Unison Sacco, a leading Tier One Deposit-taking Savings and Credit Cooperative regulated by SASRA, is seeking dedicated professionals to join our dynamic team. Our head office is situated in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, with branches in Laikipia, Nakuru, Nyeri, Meru, and Samburu Counties. We invite qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

1. CLERKS (NINE POSITIONS)

Role Overview

Officers at this level will be designated to perform various roles including Teller, Customer Care Officer, Loan Assistant, and Marketing Officer.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Management, Co-operative, Marketing, Finance, or Accounts (Graduated not earlier than 2019).
• Proficiency in computer operations and applications.
• Thorough knowledge of Sacco Societies products and services.
• Understanding of the operating environment.
• Previous experience will be an added advantage.
• Age: 22 years and above.

Term of Service

• One-year renewable contract.

2. INTERNAL AUDIT CLERK (ONE POSITION)

Role Overview

The Internal Audit Clerk will assist in ensuring compliance with internal controls, evaluating the efficiency of operations, and providing audit findings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant under the Accountants Act – CPA(K) or ACCA.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or related business degree.
• Qualification in CISA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 1-year experience in a busy organization.
• Proficiency in computer operations, especially in accounting packages and systems.
• Knowledge of various Sacco software systems is an added advantage.
• Understanding of government and other statutory regulations.

Term of Service

• One-year renewable contract.

3. CONTACT/CALL CENTRE OFFICERS (TWO POSITIONS)

Role Overview

Officers at this level will be deployed at the Head Office and will report to the Marketing Manager. Their primary role will be to attend to clients via telephone, verify information, determine eligibility, provide relevant information, and recruit members.

Job Summary

• Attend to client calls and interviews.
• Verify client information against SACCO requirements.
• Inform clients by explaining procedures.
• Answer questions and provide relevant information.
• Recruit new members and reactivate dormant accounts.
• Respond to emails and social media inquiries.
• Log and track customer/member queries.
• Perform other lawful duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or Journalism (Graduated not earlier than 2013).
• Proficiency in MS Office packages.
• Knowledge of Sacco Societies products, services, and operating environment.
• Previous experience will be an added advantage.
• Age: 22 years and above.

Term of Service

• One-year renewable contract.
