Job Overview

The position is temporary, providing critical support when needed to maintain a clean and organized office environment.
As a Temporary Office Assistant, your role is crucial to the smooth operation of our administrative functions. This job provides an opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable populations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Temporary Office Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Maintain Cleanliness: Implement routines to ensure all common areas, including meeting rooms, restrooms, and break areas, are consistently clean and organized.
- General Office Cleaning: Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in the office.
- Supply Management: Monitor and ensure the availability of essential cleaning supplies across all office spaces.
- Waste Disposal: Empty waste bins daily and ensure proper disposal according to environmental regulations.
- Disinfect: Regularly clean and disinfect drains and dustbins to prevent hygiene issues.
- File Organization: Assist with archiving files and maintaining a clutter-free office.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Administration and Logistics Manager to support the smooth functioning of the office.
Qualifications and Skills
To qualify for the Temporary Office Assistant position, you should have:
- Education: Minimum of secondary school education, with a Certificate in Housekeeping preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as an office cleaner or assistant.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer Service Skills: Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Multi-tasking: Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties efficiently.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is a plus.
