Job Description

We are excited to offer a Social Media Marketing Intern position at Nairobi Bariatric Center. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain practical experience in social media and digital marketing within a leading weight loss clinic.

Internship Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Assist in Online Marketing Activities

• Support the execution of all online marketing strategies for Nairobi Bariatric Center.
• Contribute to developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content.

Content Creation

• Develop and publish high-quality content for various social media platforms.
• Ensure content is delivered in a timely and professional manner.
• Create visually appealing graphics and engaging videos to enhance our online presence.

Social Media Management

• Oversee and manage the company’s social media platforms, including Meta (Instagram, Facebook), Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
• Focus on TikTok to produce innovative and viral content that resonates with our audience.

Digital Marketing Coordination

• Assist in coordinating digital marketing activities, such as organizing videographers and photographers.
• Work with bloggers and secure partnerships to amplify our digital reach.
• Organize and manage photoshoots and video shoots as required.

Collaboration and Coordination

• Collaborate with the Head of Social Media and Content Management, Front Office Staff, Specialists, and patients.
• Ensure the smooth execution of marketing campaigns and production of marketing materials.

Target Achievement

• Monitor and ensure marketing targets are achieved.
• Use analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

Patient Engagement

• Facilitate the collection of patient feedback through forms and Google reviews.
• Develop and distribute newsletters to keep our audience informed about our services and updates.

Qualifications

Relevant Experience

• Prior experience in videography and graphics is preferred.
• Proven ability to create engaging content for social media platforms.

Communication Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly and effectively articulate ideas.

Educational Background

• Relevant coursework or experience in marketing, communications, or related fields is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with social media management tools and graphic design software.
• Familiarity with current digital marketing practices and trends.
