Join Our Team as a Servicing Officer We are excited to offer an outstanding career opportunity as a Servicing Officer at Jubilee Life Insurance Limited. Reporting to the Manager – Group Life Servicing, this role is based at our Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose As a Servicing Officer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and efficient management of group life insurance policies. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  1. Scheme Administration: Skillfully handle end-to-end administration of group life policies. This includes setup, member additions/terminations, policy document preparation, and premium management.
  2. Customer Service: Be the main contact for policyholders and stakeholders. Address inquiries professionally, resolve issues, and provide accurate information.
  3. Policy Renewals: Efficiently manage policy renewals. Prepare documentation, communicate renewal terms, and ensure timely renewals.
  4. Claims Support: Collaborate with the claims department to facilitate processing and settlement. Provide policyholder support throughout the claims process.
  5. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Keep policy records accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate insightful reports related to scheme performance, claims experience, and customer satisfaction. Identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Relationship Management: Cultivate positive relationships with policyholders and internal departments. Collaborate for effective policy servicing.

  1. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to regulations and internal policies in group life servicing.
  2. Data Protection: Uphold data protection and privacy practices, ensuring confidentiality.
  3. Audits and Control: Participate in audits and control assessments, addressing identified gaps.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business, or related field.
  2. Professional Qualification: Diploma in Insurance/LOMA/CII/IIK Qualification.

Relevant Experience

  1. Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role.
  2. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of insurance products, terms, coverage, and regulations.
  3. Tech Proficiency: Proficient in insurance management systems and software.
