Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team at Securex. As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for managing all sales activities in the assigned accounts, specifically within the Nairobi region. You will play a critical role in executing Securex’s regional expansion strategy while building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders. This is a prime opportunity for a seasoned sales professional looking to make a significant impact in the security industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Regional Expansion Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to drive Securex’s growth in Nairobi, with a strong focus on expanding our footprint in other regions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with engineers, contractors, MEPs, and other key players to secure new projects.
  • Source New Clients: Identify and secure new clients for guarding and electronic systems, aiming to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Sales Negotiations: Handle sales negotiations, including pricing and discounts, in close collaboration with the department head.
  • Present and Sell Products and Services: Showcase Securex’s comprehensive security solutions to current and potential clients to ensure continued growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Entry Initiatives: Lead the development of market entry strategies and oversee their successful implementation.
  • Maintain Consistency of Product and Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality service delivery that aligns with Securex’s brand image.
  • Support and Guidance to Clients: Provide professional guidance and support to clients to build strong partnerships and maintain long-term relationships.

Minimum Requirements and Competencies

  • Educational Background: A university degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of continuous work experience in a similar sales role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate must be able to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
  • Persuasion and Closing Skills: Ability to persuade clients and successfully close sales in a highly competitive environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Exceptional skills in analyzing market trends and interpreting sales performance data to inform decision-making.
  • Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a sales pipeline independently.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred.
