Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Research Analyst, you will be tasked with:

1. Financial Modeling and Database Management

• Develop and maintain financial models on securities trading in the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in managing extensive databases of financial and economic data.

2. Market Research and Analysis

• Conduct industry-specific research to provide actionable insights on market trends, regional growth, and investment opportunities.
• Collect and analyze data on the economy, specific companies, and relevant securities.
• Produce high-quality research reports that summarize findings and provide data-driven recommendations.

3. Earnings Updates and Industry Reports

• Release earnings updates and provide opinions on any material changes affecting the markets.
• Prepare comprehensive financial and economic reports to guide internal and external decision-making processes.

4. Strategic Analysis

• Perform strategic market analysis of key segments and emerging trends in the financial industry.
• Identify investment opportunities through regional market analysis and competitive benchmarking.

5. Presentation of Research Findings

• Present research findings to internal teams and external clients, offering clear insights for trading decisions.
• Ensure all data is accurate and the findings are correctly interpreted.

6. Market Engagement

Required Qualifications

To excel as a Senior Research Analyst, the ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

1. Educational Background:
   • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.

2. Experience:
   • A minimum of 2 years of experience in equities and fixed-income analysis.
