ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines, analytics, and business intelligence platforms. You will be at the core of supporting our system of learning and selection applications, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies to deliver exceptional results.

This is a high-impact position that will allow you to apply your expertise in data warehousing while collaborating with talented professionals across different teams. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our data quality, reliability, and efficiency, helping us maintain our leadership in the technology talent ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems into the data warehouse.
• Ensure data security and quality within the data warehouse environment.
• Continuously improve coding standards and delivery processes.
• Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and optimize warehouse performance.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their data warehousing skills.
• Support product and project management teams by offering data-driven insights and recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

To thrive in this role, you need to have the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in data warehousing development, including ETL design, development, and implementation.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL programming and hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or AWS Redshift.
• Proven experience with large-scale data warehouses, managing both structured and unstructured data.
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling and data scaling.
• Strong understanding of data security protocols and the ability to ensure high data quality.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

NICE TO HAVE

• A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with DBT.
• Familiarity with AWS tools like S3, Glue, Redshift, and QuickSight.
• A self-learner who is eager to adopt new technologies and software tools.
