About Science Africa

Science Africa, in partnership with various organizations, invites applications from experienced health reporters in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity for you to elevate your reporting skills and contribute to meaningful change through impactful health journalism.

Fellowship Details

  • Duration: Intensive residential five-day training from 4th to 9th December 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.
  • Mentorship: Ongoing mentorship and coaching by industry experts to enhance your health reporting using Solutions Journalism (SoJo) and storytelling approaches.
  • Project: Pitch and develop at least one compelling health story idea during the training, which you will produce, write, and publish on your media platforms and the Science Africa news portal.
