JOB TITLE: SALESFORCE DEVELOPER & ADMINISTRATOR

Company Overview:

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (Lewa), located in Isiolo, Kenya, serves as a catalyst and model for wildlife conservation and habitat preservation. We are committed to excellence and are seeking a high-caliber, self-driven, and trustworthy Salesforce Developer & Administrator to join our Grants and Impact Department. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and Head of Grants and Impact, this role is pivotal in supporting and maintaining the Salesforce platform for Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Salesforce User Configuration, Settings, and Security:

  1. Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, managing user settings, profiles, permission sets, security settings, and data integrity.
  2. Manage Salesforce data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
  3. Customize and configure Salesforce to meet the specific needs of our Development Team and program monitoring and evaluation, including creating custom fields, page layouts, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce customizations and enhancements.

Salesforce Applications Module:

  1. Develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to fundraising teams and users of M&E data and reports.
  2. Support the implementation of Lewa’s overall database strategy, including Salesforce and Campaign Monitor.
  3. Assist the Development Team in gathering donor feedback, ensuring high-quality, secure, and standardized donor data to support successful fundraising campaigns.

Salesforce Integration Environment:

a) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other business systems and tools, such as accounting software, Tableau, and data collection tools like Kobo Toolbox and Formyoula.

b) Manage system integrations to ensure smooth donor flow, service delivery, and data management. Manage SF integrations including Skedda, Formyula, and Salesforce optimization apps like Conga Composer, Cirrus Insight, and Data Loader.

Job Specifications:

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer & Administrator or equivalent role with in-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Salesforce Development & Administrator certification is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fundraising and donor relations processes and workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM integrations and data management best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business productivity tools.
  • Proficiency in project management is an added advantage.
