Role Profile

Are you a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a passion for driving sales? Kyosk Digital Services Limited is seeking a Sales Supervisor to join our team in Kenya. As a Sales Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of dedicated Market Developers, overseeing revenue generation, market intelligence, sales effectiveness, customer onboarding, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation:

  • Own and achieve commercial revenue targets for the market.
  • Collaborate closely with the Area Manager to drive commercial activities.
  • Develop and execute robust RTM (Route to Market) strategies for market penetration.
  • Ensure 100% revenue target achievement for the market and individual Market Developers.

Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Conduct frequent market surveys and analysis.
  • Identify business opportunities, understand competitor activities, and grasp customer dynamics.
  • Escalate customer feedback to management for course correction.

Sales Effectiveness:

  • Coordinate with the Area Manager on key sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Focus on driving 100% Duka App utilization, optimizing basket assortment, and reducing cancellations.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfillment team to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of customer orders.

Customer Onboarding:

  • Lead initiatives for onboarding new Dukas to the Kyosk platform.
  • Oversee the retention of existing customers.
  • Drive the value proposition to Dukas and establish relationships with new customers.

Customer Focus:

  • Guide the team in understanding customer needs and wants.
  • Manage the entire Value Chain with courtesy and finesse.
  • Coach the team to anticipate client needs and follow up on orders as necessary.

People Management & Team Training:

  • Lead the team’s overall delivery and target achievement.
  • Onboard and train new Market Developers on SFA, Duka, and Agent Apps.
  • Ensure the team has in-depth knowledge of existing products and services.
  • Continuously upskill the team on new products and services.

Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on target achievement, commercial activities, competitor activities, and market intelligence.
  • Share reports with the Area Manager and Regional Commercial Managers to inform business decisions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course.
  • Professional qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience within FMCG or retail, with at least 2 years of team management experience.
  • Background in using Sales Force Automation (SFA) is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
  • Deep knowledge of retail industry standards.
  • Confident and charismatic approach to people.
