Role Profile:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales team as a Supervisor, responsible for managing a team of field-based Market Developers. In this role, you will oversee their performance and report daily to the Territory Manager. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in training and recruiting team members as needed.
Duties:
Revenue Generation:
- Take charge of commercial revenue targets for the market.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to drive commercial activities towards target achievement.
- Develop and execute RTM strategies for market penetration.
- Achieve 100% of the revenue target allocated to the market and individual Market Developers.
Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Conduct frequent market surveys and analysis.
- Identify business opportunities and assess competitor activities.
- Share customer feedback with management for course correction.
Sales Effectiveness:
- Coordinate with the Territory Manager on key sales strategies.
- Focus on driving 100% Duka App utilization.
- Optimize basket assortment for stocked SKUs.
- Minimize order cancellations.
- Collaborate with the Fulfillment team to ensure On-time In Full delivery.
Customer Onboarding:
- Lead initiatives to onboard new Dukas to the Kyosk platform.
- Oversee customer retention efforts.
- Communicate our value proposition to Dukas.
- Establish relationships with new customers through recruiting and onboarding.
Customer Focus:
- Guide the team in understanding customer needs and wants.
- Manage the entire Value Chain with courtesy and finesse.
- Coach the team to anticipate client needs and address them proactively.
- Follow up on customer orders as necessary.
People Management & Team Training:
- Lead the team to achieve targets.
- Onboard and train new Market Developers on SFA, Duka, and Agent Apps.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about products and services.
- Continuously upskill the team on new offerings.
Reporting:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on target achievement, commercial activities, competitor activities, and market intelligence.
- Share reports with the Territory Manager & Regional Commercial Manager to inform business decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- A professional qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in retail, with at least 1 year of team management.
- Experience in alcoholic beverages sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA).
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Strong knowledge of retail industry standards.
- Confident and charismatic approach to people.
