Job Summary

Nairobi Inland Cargo Terminal (NICT) is seeking Sales Executives to join our growing team in Nairobi, Kenya. NICT is a leading Container Freight Station (CFS) providing top-tier logistics services in Nairobi. As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving sales, managing client relationships, and expanding our customer base in the freight forwarding industry. This position is designed for dynamic professionals with proven sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector.


Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive at NICT, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Presenting and promoting the full suite of NICT services, including cargo handling, verification, and stuffing/de-stuffing.
  • Conducting market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet the company’s financial objectives.
  • Providing regular feedback on customer demands, competitive products, and market trends.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for the Sales Executive role at NICT, candidates must have:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, particularly in freight forwarding, CFS, or logistics.
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
  • A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering client-focused solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Work Location
