Job Overview
Classic Mouldings Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join its Nairobi team. This role combines exceptional sales expertise with a comprehensive understanding of interior design principles. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering premium customer experiences, guiding clients through the selection of Classic Mouldings’ diverse product range, and ensuring the seamless execution of their interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation & Sales
- Proactively engage clients in the showroom, understanding their needs and offering tailored advice on product selection.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide practical and logical advice based on industry-standard principles in interior design and architecture.
2. Product Knowledge & Recommendations
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Classic Mouldings’ product features, benefits, and applications.
- Stay informed about market trends, emerging customer preferences, and interior design standards.
- Advise clients on suitable products, including architectural mouldings, paints, and natural stone tiles.
3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Utilize SAGE CRM or similar systems to manage leads, record client interactions, and track sales performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional after-sales service.
4. Showroom Standards & Visual Merchandising
- Maintain a visually appealing showroom that reflects Classic Mouldings’ premium brand image.
- Ensure displays are up-to-date, functional, and showcase products in real-life applications.
5. Team Collaboration & Training
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to align sales objectives with project timelines.
- Share valuable client feedback to inspire product improvements and innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related fields. A background in interior design is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience, ideally within the interior design or luxury goods sector.
- Experience in selling paints is a significant advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles to guide client decision-making effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first approach.
- Robust organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
