Job Overview

Kimisitu Sacco Ltd, a rapidly growing National Tier-1 Deposit Taking SACCO, is on the lookout for a Sales and Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team in Mombasa County. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in recruiting new members, promoting our FOSA and BOSA products, and expanding our market presence. Position Summary

As a Sales and Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for:

Recruitment and Advisory:

• Identifying and recruiting quality organizations for Kimisitu Sacco membership.
• Ensuring organizations meet eligibility criteria for joining Kimisitu Sacco.
• Recruiting new members from existing and prospective organizations while adhering to Sacco policies.
• Serving as the primary contact for assigned relationships, aiming to meet SACCO targets.
• Ensuring recruited members meet share capital and deposit requirements.
• Educating members on the various FOSA and BOSA products, including terms and conditions.

Revenue Generation and Relationship Management:

• Increasing Sacco revenue through targeted sales of Sacco products and services.
• Providing guidance to members on loan eligibility.
• Ensuring member satisfaction within your assigned portfolio.
• Collaborating in planning, organizing, and executing Sacco marketing events.
• Managing a portfolio of members to meet KPIs for BOSA and FOSA products.

Accountability and Miscellaneous:

• Ensuring membership retention.
• Undertaking any additional responsibilities assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in sales and marketing, Co-operative Management, Business Administration/Management, or equivalent.
• A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in sales, marketing, and/or business development in a financial institution.
• Previous experience in a financial institution in Mombasa City or adjacent Coastal Towns.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
