Job Title: Sales and Marketing Assistant Grade ACFC 9

Terms of Employment: Permanent and Pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handling Sales Enquiries and Correspondence:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, providing timely and accurate information to prospective customers.
- Manage relevant correspondence efficiently to ensure smooth communication channels with clients and internal teams.
Developing Presentation Formats and Materials:
- Create compelling presentation formats and materials to showcase our products and services effectively.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Receiving Payments and Reporting:
- Facilitate payment transactions with customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports to track sales performance and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Requirements for Appointment:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration: Obtained from a recognized institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in sales and marketing principles.
- Proficiency in Computer Applications: Proficient in utilizing various software applications for data analysis, report writing, and presentations.
- Valid Driving License: Possess a valid driving license to facilitate travel for sales-related activities.
- Chapter Six (6) Compliance: Fulfill the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, ensuring integrity and ethical conduct.
Key Competencies and Skills:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Strategic and Innovative Thinking: Creative approach to problem-solving and developing innovative sales and marketing strategies.
- Effective Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication both verbally and in writing, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Capable of building rapport and maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
