Position Overview

We are searching for dedicated and professional Riders and Tuk-tuk Drivers to handle delivery operations within Nairobi and assigned routes across the city. The ideal candidates will ensure timely and safe deliveries, maintain excellent communication with customers, and provide regular feedback to management as required. Working with Cossim Limited, you will play a crucial role in the daily logistics of the company, ensuring that products reach their destinations efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods promptly and in accordance with scheduled timelines and designated routes.
• Ensure the safe delivery of goods while adhering to company safety standards.
• Comply with NTSA regulations and company policies to ensure road safety.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, addressing queries and issues effectively.
• Provide regular reports to the management team on deliveries and customer interactions.
• Assist in maintaining the vehicle in optimal working condition and report any mechanical issues.
• Handle both cash and electronic payments for deliveries in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure vehicles, especially Tuk-tuks, are clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols while performing delivery duties.
• Communicate any potential issues or delays to management and customers in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A valid driving license suitable for Tuk-tuk operations.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar delivery role within Nairobi or similar urban environments.
• Completed high school education or equivalent.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a customer service context.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in duty performance.
• Extensive knowledge of Nairobi and its surroundings, including major routes and shortcuts.
• Prior experience in customer service or a similar field, demonstrating the ability to handle customer interactions efficiently.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other basic computer operations to track deliveries and provide reports.
• Understanding of rider operation requirements, including licensing, permits, and vehicle insurance.
• Awareness of industry trends, such as the rise of electric bikes and the evolving delivery landscape in Kenya.
