Job Summary:

Africa Research and Data Ltd. and Prime Expertise Ltd. seek dedicated research assistants for our upcoming project, “Study of Vi Agroforestry’s Impact on Agrobiodiversity through SALM and Agroforestry.” This groundbreaking study aims to explore the impact of Vi Agroforestry initiatives on agrobiodiversity, emphasizing the diversity of genetic resources and species vital for food and agriculture. We are looking for individuals with expertise in biodiversity, agriculture, agroforestry, botany, and natural resource management to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with study participants to gather insights and data.
  • Document biodiversity and agricultural practices through sample collection and photography.
  • Assess land use and biodiversity through farm measurements and observations.
  • Complete and submit assigned interviews for verification.
  • Review quantitative data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow up with participants as needed to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain study tools and equipment.
  • Facilitate qualitative interviews and compile transcripts for analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in biodiversity, agriculture, agroforestry, botany, or natural resource management.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic data capture methods using tools like KoBo Collect, ODK, or SurveyCTO.

Mandatory Requirements:
