JOB SUMMARY

Join our dynamic Macro Fiscal and Public Debt Unit (MFPDU), a team that spearheads research and analysis on macroeconomic and fiscal issues, with a specialized focus on public debt management and sustainability. Collaborating with policymakers, civil society organizations, and the private sector, we aim to foster sound fiscal policies and responsible debt management practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Developing Impactful Insights
    • Develop and present research findings in clear, concise, and well-organized reports, briefs, presentations, and policy papers.
  2. Project Design and Implementation
    • Assist with the design and implementation of research projects and technical assistance activities.
  3. Thorough Research and Analysis
    • Conduct research on assigned topics related to macroeconomics, fiscal policy, and public debt management.
    • Analyze data using both quantitative and qualitative methods from diverse sources, including government reports, international databases, and academic literature.
  4. Effective Communication
    • Prepare research reports, briefs, and policy papers.
    • Develop and maintain databases on relevant economic and fiscal indicators.
  5. Collaborative Engagement
    • Contribute to the development of research proposals and budgets.
    • Assist with organizing and conducting workshops, seminars, and conferences.
    • Liaise with policymakers, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.
