Job Summary

As the Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Region, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, coordinating, and directing strategies to achieve company objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving sales and ensuring the region’s success.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives.
  2. Performance Analysis: Report on regional sales results and evaluate store and individual performances.
  3. Forecasting: Accurately forecast sales for the region.
  4. Distributor Management: Oversee distributor relationships and management.
  5. Team Leadership: Coach and manage the field sales team.
  6. Third-Party Management: Ensure effective performance management of third-party partners.
  7. Market Analysis: Analyze regional market trends and identify growth opportunities by channel and category.
  8. Store Focus: Create sales goals for key stores and communicate them to store management.
  9. Reporting: Prepare sales reports and provide findings and analysis to senior management.
  10. Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the point of contact with vendors, distributors, and the sales team in your region.
  11. Issue Resolution: Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results.

Qualifications

Academic Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in merchandising, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably.
  • Basic accounting skills are required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong motivational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and generate reports and market analyses.
