About the Role

As an Electrical Engineering Fellow at Regen Organics, you’ll work alongside our Electrical Engineer to design and fabricate electrical engineering projects, systems, and equipment. You’ll also play a key role in creating mathematical models using Google Sheets and Excel to simulate project performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Design and Fabrication

  • Assist in designing and fabricating electrical engineering projects, systems, and equipment.

2. Mathematical Modeling

  • Create and maintain mathematical models using Google Sheets and Excel to simulate project performance.

3. Engineering Drawings

  • Develop, interpret, and edit engineering drawings (Assembly, P&ID, Layout) for internal and external reference.

4. Troubleshooting

  • Help troubleshoot mathematical models, plant systems, and equipment, and lead resolution efforts under supervision.

5. Presentations

  • Prepare presentations reporting on the status of engineering projects.

6. Vendor Interaction

  • Interact with vendors to obtain price and product information for equipment, spare parts, and supplies.

7. Project Management

  • Assist in project management, ensuring contractors meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost requirements.

8. Documentation

  • Prepare equipment handover documentation, installation, and commissioning procedures.

9. Engineering Trials

  • Support the design and implementation of engineering trials to optimize process and equipment operation.

10. Research and Analysis – Conduct research on alternative technologies and perform cost-benefit analysis for process improvements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Visio, Google Docs, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.
  • Understanding of mechanical equipment and systems.
