Job Summary

As a Receptionist at Acutest Hospitals, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibilities will include managing front-desk operations, handling patient inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Management: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Patient Registration: Accurately register patients, update records, and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Call Handling: Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate departments.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in maintaining patient files, managing correspondence, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Billing and Payments: Process patient payments, provide billing information, and assist with insurance claims.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a positive experience for all patients by addressing concerns and providing necessary information.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Swahili.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification: Additional training or certification in office management or customer service.
  • Experience: Familiarity with healthcare management systems and billing procedures.

Salary Information
