Project Focus: Challenging the Politics of Social Exclusion (CPSE)
Join us in implementing a groundbreaking four-year research-to-policy program – CPSE. This program aims to domesticate continental commitments on sexual and reproductive health, championing the rights of all, including young people and women, in line with Agenda 2063. We aspire to create a development that includes everyone.
Role Overview: Capacity-Strengthening Assessment Consultant
We are searching for a dedicated consultant to evaluate the effectiveness of our capacity-strengthening sessions for key partners, particularly the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF), East African Community (EAC), and other collaborators. Your insights will guide us in enhancing these sessions and optimizing our impact.
Responsibilities:
- Framework Development: Create an assessment framework for evaluating capacity-strengthening sessions.
- Desk Review: Analyze capacity-strengthening documents and plans.
- Tool Design: Collaborate with the team to design assessment tools and methodologies.
- Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of sessions on partners like SADC PF and EAC.
- Capacity Opportunities: Identify additional capacity-building avenues for our partners.
- Recommendations: Compile findings into a comprehensive report with actionable recommendations.
- Presentation: Deliver a detailed presentation of findings, lessons, best practices, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum five years in capacity assessment and monitoring.
- Proficiency in research, assessment, and evaluation.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- Excellent command of English; French and Portuguese proficiency a plus.
