Key Responsibilities

During the 12-month Pupillage Programme, successful candidates will:

• Work closely with senior litigators and commercial law experts to assist with ongoing cases in Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Conveyancing & Commercial.
• Gain experience in drafting legal documents, court pleadings, and commercial agreements.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to case preparation.
• Research legal issues, assist with dispute resolution strategies, and develop solutions for client cases.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient legal service delivery while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Continuously engage in learning opportunities, enhancing both legal knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this Pupillage Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with at least Upper Second Class Honors from a recognized university.
• Current enrollment at the Kenya School of Law.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and contribute within a team setting.
• Results-oriented with the ability to handle challenging tasks and meet deadlines.
• Computer literate with proficiency in using legal research tools, document management systems, and other relevant software.
