Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Development

• Develop Project Charter: Lead the development of the project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, ensuring that all resources are available and allocated appropriately.
• Statutory Engagement: Engage with statutory bodies to acquire all necessary approvals for project progression.

Design and Procurement Management

• Design Process Management: Oversee the design stages, from concept to detailed designs, ensuring all client-driven requirements are met.
• Tender Process Oversight: Manage the Expression of Interest (EOI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Tender processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with project goals.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with external vendors to achieve profitable agreements that align with project objectives.

Risk and Resource Management

• Risk Management: Implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Resource Management: Ensure the efficient allocation of resources, both human and material, to meet project demands.

Project Execution and Handover

• Project Plan Execution: Develop and monitor a detailed project plan, utilizing appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost.
• Project Handover: Spearhead the project handover process, ensuring seamless transition to the operations teams and successful project completion, testing, and commissioning.

Performance Monitoring and Value Generation

• Performance Measurement: Utilize systems, tools, and techniques to measure project performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes.
• Revenue Generation: Achieve Project Management Revenue targets as outlined in project management contracts.
• Value Uplift: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the value of projects for the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Sciences, or a related field.
• Professional Certification: Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of business skills, project planning, budgeting, and financial analysis within the construction industry.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of project management experience, particularly in active construction sites.
