Job Description:

As the Policy, Research, and Partnership Manager at IEK, you will play a critical role in guiding our organization’s strategic decisions, influencing policy directions, and fostering collaborations with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Policy Development:

  • Lead the development and implementation of policy initiatives aligned with IEK’s mission and goals.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform policy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to advocate for policy changes that support the engineering profession and societal development.

2. Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth research on various engineering topics, producing high-quality reports, whitepapers, and articles.
  • Analyze complex data sets and distill findings into actionable insights for decision-making and advocacy purposes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technological advancements in the engineering field to inform research projects and strategic initiatives.

3. Partnership Development:

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, industry associations, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration, joint initiatives, and knowledge-sharing to advance IEK’s objectives and enhance its impact.
  • Represent IEK in meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote partnerships and foster goodwill within the engineering community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Public Policy, International Relations, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in policy development, research, or advocacy roles, preferably in the engineering or technology sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
