Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmaceutical Technologist Intern, you will be expected to:

  • Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.

  • Assist in pharmaceutical analysis and perform quality control duties, ensuring that all medicines meet the required standards.
  • Participate in the training and mentorship of students in Medical Training Institutions.
  • Assist in curriculum development and evaluation of training programs for pharmacy students.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and induction process for new students in training institutions.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution, approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
  • A valid Certificate of Enrollment as a Pharmaceutical Technologist, awarded by the PPB.
  • Must be 35 years of age or below.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures and medicine dispensation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform pharmaceutical quality control.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, especially in training environments.
  • High levels of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
