Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmaceutical Technologist Intern, you will be expected to:

Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Provide supervision and guidance to junior pharmaceutical staff.
Assist in pharmaceutical analysis and perform quality control duties, ensuring that all medicines meet the required standards.
Participate in the training and mentorship of students in Medical Training Institutions.
Assist in curriculum development and evaluation of training programs for pharmacy students.
Contribute to the recruitment and induction process for new students in training institutions.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

A Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution, approved by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
A valid Certificate of Enrollment as a Pharmaceutical Technologist, awarded by the PPB.
Must be 35 years of age or below.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures and medicine dispensation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform pharmaceutical quality control.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities, especially in training environments.
High levels of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
