About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned People Operations and Office Manager to oversee our Human Resources and Office Management functions. This is a strategic leadership position for a proactive professional who thrives in dynamic environments. Collaborating with a dedicated People Operations Associate and Office Management Assistant, you will foster an exceptional workplace while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition and Management
- Recruitment & Hiring:
Develop innovative strategies to attract top talent, including cloud engineers, software architects, DevOps specialists, technical support professionals, and sales experts. Utilize employer branding, networking, and online platforms to create a robust candidate pipeline, emphasizing certified cloud professionals. - Onboarding:
Implement a structured onboarding process to acclimatize hires to PAWA IT’s culture and technical environment, including training on cloud services. - Performance Management:
Support performance management frameworks, offering tools for regular feedback, 1:1 sessions, and developmental reviews. - Retention Strategies:
Develop retention programs addressing the needs of tech professionals, offering career growth, competitive rewards, and fostering a positive workplace culture. - Succession Planning:
Identify high-potential employees for leadership roles, creating pathways for professional development.
2. Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation Strategy:
Design competitive salary structures tailored to the tech sector, staying informed of market trends. - Benefits Administration:
Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible work arrangements, aligning them with industry benchmarks.
3. Employee Relations and Culture
- Engagement Programs:
Drive initiatives like team-building activities, pulse surveys, and recognition programs to enhance employee satisfaction. - Conflict Resolution:
Address workplace concerns swiftly, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
4. HR Operations and Administration
- HR Systems Management:
Manage recruitment CRM systems and ensure seamless functionality. - Policy Development:
Draft and implement policies aligned with legal compliance and company values. - Analytics and Reporting:
Generate insightful reports on key metrics like employee satisfaction and turnover rates for data-driven decision-making.
5. Office Management
- Facilities Oversight:
Ensure the office is safe, functional, and conducive to productivity by managing cleanliness, maintenance, and workspace optimization. - Inventory Control:
Streamline office supply procurement and maintain inventory using online systems. - Technology Management:
Oversee office equipment, including setup for new hires, and coordinate with IT for system upgrades. - Health, Safety, and Security:
Enforce health regulations, manage access control, and ensure emergency preparedness.
6. Administrative Support
- Petty Cash and Procurement:
Administer office petty cash and manage procurement processes in collaboration with the Executive Assistant. - Vendor Management:
Cultivate relationships with vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely payments. - Record Keeping:
Maintain meticulous digital and physical records.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in HR and office management within fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations. - Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and operational tools.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and lead teams effectively.
