As an Operations Supervisor in the dynamic field of Transport & Logistics, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the smooth functioning of our logistics team and exceeding client expectations. 1. Supervision and Team Management:

  • Supervise the logistics team to ensure delivery targets meet and exceed client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate and enhance team performance, including Yard Marshalls, Shunting Drivers, and Logistics Planners.

2. Client Relations and Brand Management:

  • Build and protect brand equity by managing client relations and consistently representing the company in client meetings.
  • Chair daily morning meetings to address hand-over issues, focusing on process efficiency.

3. Field and Office Coordination:

  • Coordinate field and office operations to ensure smooth and efficient resource utilization.
  • Attend drivers’ toolbox meetings, address concerns, and escalate issues as needed.

4. Timely Cargo Offloading and Safety Measures:

  • Maintain client relationships to ensure timely cargo offloading, improving turnaround time.
  • Prioritize a strong safety culture, adhere to safety mantras, and train new staff on safety guidelines.

5. Reporting and Communication:

  • Oversee and ensure accuracy in preparing daily/weekly/monthly analysis and reports for management.
  • Assist Head of Operation in handling operational communications and procedures for issue resolution.


  • Degree in Business Management/Operations/Logistics Management from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the Transport & Logistics industry.
