Job Specifications:

This is your entry point into the world of Office Assistance. Reporting to a Senior Human Resource Officer, you’ll work diligently under supervision to ensure smooth office functions. Your responsibilities will encompass general office maintenance, including cleaning services, messengerial duties, and tea preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your role as an Office Assistant will involve the following tasks:

  1. Cleaning and maintaining offices, equipment, and apparatus.
  2. Collecting and disposing of waste effectively.
  3. Dusting offices to create a pleasant work environment.
  4. Arranging and orderly arrangement of office equipment and furniture.
  5. Handling letters and dispatching them promptly.
  6. Ensuring timely and professional arrangement of meeting venues.
  7. Keeping an inventory of kitchen equipment.
  8. Preparing and serving office tea.
  9. Performing essential office and messengerial tasks.

Requirements for Appointment:

To excel in this role, you’ll need to have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of a grade D in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in both English and Kiswahili languages.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Compliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
  • Effective planning and organization abilities to manage tasks efficiently.
