Role Overview
As an Office Assistant at KEMRI, you’re embarking on a crucial role that contributes to our holistic mission. This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. You will work closely with seasoned Senior Officers, learning and thriving in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will encompass:
1. Guiding Outsourced Cleaning Services
- Collaborate with cleaning services to ensure offices and the compound are impeccably clean.
2. Efficient Document Handling
- Maintain records of letters, files, and documents, ensuring timely dispatch.
3. Landscape Care
- Engage in garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, pruning, and mowing.
4. Waste Management
- Collect, assemble, and properly dispose of waste, contributing to a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
1. Academic Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade D or equivalent from a recognized institution.
2. Computer Proficiency
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, enhancing your efficiency in various tasks.
