Key Responsibilities

As the Nurse In-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that nursing operations at the outpatient centre are efficient and patient-centric. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administration of Medicine: Administer prescribed medications and perform minor clinical procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory within the outpatient centre to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Maternal and Child Healthcare: Provide comprehensive maternal and child health services.
  • Patient Triage: Conduct effective triaging to prioritize care based on patients’ needs.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure compliance with SOPs related to triage and nursing procedures.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Infection Prevention and Control (IPC): Coordinate and implement the IPC program to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
  • Staff Rota Management: Organize staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and demonstrate the required skills:

  • Education: Diploma in Nursing (a degree in Nursing is an added advantage).
  • Certification: Must hold a valid registration certificate from the Nursing Council.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years as a practicing nurse.
  • ICT Skills: Competency in basic computer applications.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Teamwork: Self-motivated and an effective team player.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Proven skills in analysis, organization, and problem resolution.
