Job Responsibilities

As an Animal Health Specialist at Noble Farm, your key responsibilities will include:

• Proactive Health Management: Ensure the health, nutrition, and welfare of the livestock through proactive management strategies.
• Breeding Programs: Oversee breeding programs to ensure the genetic quality and productivity of our livestock.
• Vaccinations and Disease Prevention: Implement and monitor vaccination schedules and disease prevention measures to maintain herd health.
• Health Assessments: Conduct regular health assessments and diagnostics to identify and address any health issues promptly.
• Nutritional Planning: Develop and manage nutritional plans tailored to the specific needs of different livestock groups.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of health assessments, treatments, and management practices.
• Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to farm staff on best practices in animal health and welfare.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Animal Science or Animal Production.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an animal production facility.
• Immediate Availability: Should be available to take up the role immediately.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of livestock health management, disease prevention, and nutritional planning.
• Skills: Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
