Role Overview: Marketing Deployment Intern
As a Marketing Deployment Intern at BAT Kenya, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment. This internship is designed to empower you with practical skills while working on functional projects within the Trade Marketing & Distribution department. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, receive tailored coaching, and develop leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Marketing Campaign Deployment: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences, aiding in the development of targeted marketing strategies.
- Support Trade Marketing Activities: Assist in the planning and execution of trade marketing activities, including point-of-sale promotions and retailer engagement programs.
- Data Management and Reporting: Use Excel to manage data, track campaign performance, and generate reports for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in learning sessions and training programs to enhance your marketing and business acumen.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Diploma in Marketing or a related field.
- Graduated from university within the last 1-2 years.
- Self-starter with a strong drive for results.
- Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
Preferred:
- Prior internship experience in a marketing or trade marketing role.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
