Key Responsibilities
1. Communications Management
- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with RFH’s mission.
- Draft newsletters, press releases, brochures, and other impactful communication materials.
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
2. Social Media Management
- Manage RFH’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Create and schedule engaging content to showcase programs and achievements.
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to improve visibility.
3. Website Management
- Regularly update RFH’s website with dynamic content and program updates.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve functionality.
4. Content Creation
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of RFH activities.
- Edit and produce multimedia content for use across various platforms.
5. Human Interest Storytelling
- Visit program sites to document compelling stories from beneficiaries.
- Conduct interviews to highlight the impact of RFH’s initiatives.
6. Marketing and Outreach
- Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
- Design promotional materials for events and initiatives.
7. Brand Management
- Ensure adherence to RFH’s branding guidelines across all communications.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain branding consistency.
8. Monitoring and Evaluation
- Track the effectiveness of communication strategies using analytics tools.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights.
9. General Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years in communications, marketing, or social media management.
- Proficiency in storytelling, photography, and videography.
- Familiarity with working on design projects with consultants is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in social media tools, analytics, and content scheduling software.
- Knowledge of website content management systems like WordPress.
- Expertise in multimedia editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
Soft Skills
- Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
