Introduction:

Kakuzi PLC is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic graduates to join our team as Management Trainees. This unique opportunity aims to develop recent graduates with backgrounds in agricultural sciences into future leaders within our Horticulture and Macadamia Divisions. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to understand our business operations, with the goal of assuming progressively responsible roles in the future.

Summary:

We are looking for individuals with a degree in Agricultural Sciences, preferably in Horticulture, who possess strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidates should be self-motivated, team players with a passion for agriculture and a willingness to work in a farm environment. Integrity and interpersonal skills are also essential qualities we seek in our Management Trainees.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of Divisional managers, Management Trainees will be involved in various aspects of farm management including employee management, crop establishment, irrigation, nutrition, husbandry, crop protection, post-harvest procedures, and Avocado Packhouse operations.

Qualifications and Person Specifications:

  • Degree in Agricultural Sciences, preferably Horticulture, with a minimum of Second Class Honours, Upper Division.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated individual.
  • Willingness to work in a farm environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity and ethical behavior are non-negotiable.
