Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate Woodworking Machinery: Efficiently and safely operate bandsaw machines and other woodworking equipment.
• Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all wood products meet the company’s quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of machine operation, maintenance, and any incidents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Requirements: KCSE Certificate
• Professional Qualification: Artisan Carpentry and Joinery
• Experience: work experience in a similar role
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery, particularly bandsaw machines
• Physical Ability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues efficiently
