As a Legal Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations while offering legal advice and representation in various legal matters.


Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Officer at Tenakata Enterprises Limited, your duties will encompass a broad range of legal activities. Your primary responsibilities include:

1. Legal Advice and Guidance

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on matters related to contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance issues.
  • Research and analyze legal issues and regulations that are pertinent to the organization’s operations and the financial services industry.

2. Regulatory Compliance

5. Legal Disputes and Representation

  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation, as required.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, identifying potential legal risks and opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

To be considered for the Legal Officer position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Educational Background

  • A University or College Degree in Law is required, with a strong academic record.

2. Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably within a corporate or commercial setting, is essential.

3. Legal Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance is a must.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations and MSME-related legal frameworks is highly desirable.

4. Skills and Abilities
