The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) is looking for four diligent individuals to join us as Drivers, a pivotal role that supports our mission to regulate and enhance healthcare services in Kenya.
Position Overview:
- Job Title: Driver – Job Grade ‘KM-11’
- Equivalent to: Job Group ‘G’ in the Public Service
- Total Positions: 4
Job Specifications:
As a Driver at KMPDC, your role will encompass:
- Driving vehicles as authorized.
- Maintaining accurate work tickets for assigned vehicles.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the assigned motor vehicle.
- Submitting regular reports on the motor vehicle assigned.
- Keeping the vehicle in proper mechanical working condition.
- Prioritizing security and safety of passengers and the vehicle on and off the road.
- Strict adherence to traffic laws.
- Promptly reporting any incidents to the police and/or the office.
Persons Specification:
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- At least Two (2) years of driving experience.
- A minimum mean grade of D+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- A valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to operate.
- An Occupational Trade Test III Certificate.
- A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Completion of a First Aid Certificate course, lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution.
- Full compliance with Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
