Position Overview:

• Job Title: Driver – Job Grade ‘KM-11’
• Equivalent to: Job Group ‘G’ in the Public Service
• Total Positions: 4

Job Specifications:

As a Driver at KMPDC, your role will encompass:

1. Driving vehicles as authorized.
2. Maintaining accurate work tickets for assigned vehicles.
3. Ensuring the cleanliness of the assigned motor vehicle.
4. Submitting regular reports on the motor vehicle assigned.
5. Keeping the vehicle in proper mechanical working condition.
6. Prioritizing security and safety of passengers and the vehicle on and off the road.
7. Strict adherence to traffic laws.
8. Promptly reporting any incidents to the police and/or the office.

Persons Specification:

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

• At least Two (2) years of driving experience.
• A minimum mean grade of D+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• A valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to operate.
• An Occupational Trade Test III Certificate.
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Completion of a First Aid Certificate course, lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution.
• Full compliance with Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
